The 2011 Angelicus Panis is made from 70% Pinot Noir and 30% Chardonnay and is made in the Methode Traditionelle style.
The wine has a soft salmon Blush colour from a brief visit to the skins of the Pinot Noir, which has given the wine rose petal and strawberry notes on the palate with a delicious soft mousse and fresh finish. The nose offers aromas hinting at rose petals and cherries from the Pinot Noir with citrus background provided by the Chardonnay
A great wine to be served as an aperitif or with seafood or then again would complement a rich dessert.
“I drink Champagne when I’m happy and when I’m sad.
Sometimes I drink it when I'm alone, in company I consider it obligatory, I trifle with it when I’m not hungry and drink it when I am, otherwise I never touch it….unless I’m thirsty”
Madame Lily Bollinger.
