Our Tempranillo is made from 99% Tempranillo and 1% Grenache, from fruit grown at 220m above sea level at Angelicus.
This wine is made from 5 clones of Tempranillo new to Australia from Ribera del Duero and Rioja. The wine has blackberries, cedar and cocoa on the nose with blood plums, mulberries and dark chocolate on the palate with velvet tannins to finish.
We believe this wine although delicious drinking now would further develop with some bottle age.
We would recommend it be served alongside either roast lamb and roasted vegetables, grilled chorizo or with an aged cheddar.
